Rebecca has been licensed since 2003 and has been working in the field of counseling for over 20 years.  Her experience includes providing therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.  She gave her life to the Lord as a child and prayerfully sought His direction for her life and career.  Her heart’s desire was to minister to people with brokenness in their lives in need of God’s healing.  She obtained her Master’s degree from San Diego State University and has worked in a variety of non-profit counseling settings. Rebecca has been in private practice since 2010.  Rebecca utilizes numerous theoretical orientations, but strongly draws on cognitive-behavioral theory and psycho-dynamic approaches.

Rebecca’s approach is to develop a trusting, supportive relationship with each client and to assist them in gaining insight into their struggles and in developing healthy coping skills.  Rebecca takes a very active approach in the therapeutic process while empowering her clients in creating desired changes in their lives.
